How QuantumX Uses Trend, Strength, and Market Location

A general explanation of the context filters that help the system accept or reject a candidate.

Direction alone is incomplete

A directional signal can appear while the surrounding structure points the other way. QuantumX therefore evaluates a candidate in context rather than treating buy or sell as a complete instruction.

Broadly, the system asks whether direction, strength, trend, and market location agree closely enough to meet the strategy's rules. Exact definitions and thresholds remain proprietary.

Location changes the meaning of movement

The same amount of price movement can carry different information depending on where it occurs within the market's recent structure. A candidate can therefore be rejected even when its direction and strength appear attractive in isolation.

Location is one of several filters. It is not a magic support or resistance line and does not predict that price must reverse or continue.

Conflicts become explicit reasons to wait

When the context does not qualify, the system can mark the candidate as no trade and record a general reason, such as weak confirmation, conflicting trend, or unsuitable location.

Making the rejection logic explicit helps keep the live process aligned with the tested rules. It also prevents discretionary urgency from turning an incomplete setup into an order.
