How the QuantumX Strategy Is Tested and Updated
The research discipline used to challenge signals before they become part of the trading process.
Research starts with clean, repeatable data
A signal can look useful because of bad timestamps, inconsistent prices, accidental future information, or selective periods. The QuantumX research process begins by structuring the data and defining what information would have been available at the time of each decision.
Features and targets are then evaluated across many observations rather than judged from a few memorable examples.
Small signals must survive attempts to break them
Candidate relationships are tested across different samples and conditions. Random-timestamp comparisons can help show whether an apparent edge is meaningfully different from entering without the claimed timing information.
No single test proves that an edge will persist. The purpose is to reject fragile ideas early and understand where a surviving signal has limitations.
Updates should preserve the operating boundary
When research supports a change, the software version, configuration, authorization, and deployment path should remain controlled. Updates should be observable and reversible instead of silently changing every customer instance at once.
Historical testing, staged updates, and live monitoring can improve discipline. They cannot turn past results into a forecast, and they cannot guarantee that markets will continue behaving the same way.
